The Stacks: Books to Read

What’s on your to read list?

I have to take a moment to thank my local library for supporting my vivacious reading habit on the cheap. If my local branch doesn’t have a book I want they are very wonderful about requesting it through interlibrary exchange.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE LIBRARIES!!!!!!

Anyways, Here are the books in my to read stack; which grows higher all the time. Do you find your book stack slowly creeping up in size? The books in my stack are not all Austen…Gasp…but I have eclectic reading tastes. Why limit yourself when you can explore many different worlds.

What do you think of my book stack?

Am I missing a book that I should be reading?

What’s in your stack of books?

I’d like to know.

That's an excellent stack, Kaydee. My TBR pile scares me, honestly. I started assigning books to different months so I'd feel like I was making headway! For June, I'd like to finish reading Venetia and Jacob Wonderbar and listening to Emma.

I've got four or five books on July's list... listening to Mansfield Park, reading at least one NF book about the Regency, a kids book... My tastes are eclectic as well. It keeps my writer's brain flexible.

As for suggestions, have you read North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell? It ranks right up there with P&P for me.

Looks like good suggestions, Kaydee. I haven't read any of them yet. I hope you'll add my book to your reading list if I manage to get it out - August 1st?
